Amazon Description

Dr. Seuss's Sleep Book turns 50 in 2012, and to mark the event we are publishing—for a limited time only—a full-foil covered Anniversary Edition at the regular edition price of $14.99. Written to be "read in bed," the story begins with one small yawn that spreads from bedroom to bedroom across the country until finally ninety-nine zillion, nine trillion and three Seussian creatures are sound asleep. Perfect for reading before nap or bedtime (of course), the book makes an ideal gift for new parents, sleepover-hosting grandparents, collectors, book-loving insomniacs, and happy occasions of all kinds.

One Potato Review

One of the many remarkable things about this book is the way that it actually makes you sleepy. Intentionally though: from the yawning and tooth-brushing and drawbridge drawing of the early pages, to the utter peacefulness of sprawling, dozing communities toward the end, where the colors turn gradually darker, and many people gradually become one, and that person is you. Oh, here’s another remarkable thing: that fascinations worthy of an engineer, an architect, a musician, and a zoologist should ever have gone buzzing around in exactly one person, who was furthermore blessed with the good humor and artistic dexterity to be able to share them.
