Odd and Swedish and blessedly matter-of-fact. The seven little Daddies are all identical, and they are scatter-brained, although if there’s a conceit in this story, it’s not so portentous to distract Else-Marie from more practical considerations like: What will the kids at school think? All those seven little Daddies need to use the bathroom in the morning too.
