Amazon Description
Leo isn't reading, or writing, or drawing, or even speaking, and his father is concerned. But Leo's mother isn't. She knows her son will do all those things, and more, when he's ready. 'Reassuring for other late bloomers, this book is illustrated with beguiling pictures.' -- Saturday Review.
One Potato Review
The little tiger that couldn’t. “A watched bloomer doesn’t bloom,” reminds Leo’s mother, whereupon dad kicks back and watches some TV - then does Leo go out and become king of the jungle? He does not, but he stops spilling his dinner all over himself at least, and his becoming merely competent amid all of the fauna and eye-popping flora, is the sincerest aspiration of anyone who’s ever felt left behind. A small triumph.
