Amazon Description
Penguins don't dream! And, they can't fly either, but in this zany story from the bestselling author and artist team who created Olive, the Other Reindeer, anything goes! Before the alarm sings ding-a-ling, one special penguin finds himself flying up, up, up and away. On his journey through space and sky, he meets some wacky winged characters, then lands head first in a penguin paradise. Was it real or was it all a dream?
One Potato Review
Is it nonsense that that penguins should want to fly, or atavism, or only good literature? There are few enough words in this book that it’s probably intended for very young readers, still even a grown-up is likely to feel a little let down when that alarm clock is ringing and Chongo Chingi is no longer snacking with vampire bats and hovering amid octopi in outer space. This is the kind of idea you have in the middle of the night, then you wake up in the morning and go “naahh”. Good thing the writer and illustrator here apparently both had the same dream; as usual they are in perfect understanding. Lunatic. Inspired.
