Amazon Description

Even on beautiful days, bad things can happen. Bad things like Charlotte calling her best friend, Kate, a big pink baby, and Kate crying all the way home. Charlotte feels awful . . . in fact, she feels so awful she can’t even eat her pizza and french fries. It was that bad.

Then Grandpa shows Charlotte his invisible mistakecase . . . and she doesn’t believe her eyes! It’s a place where he keeps reminders of all the mistakes he never wants to repeat. Could Charlotte possibly have a mistakecase of her very own?

One Potato Review

Here is a beautiful concept - someplace we can carry our regrets with their becoming too burdensome - and it is fully (and comically) imagined. This should come as no surprise. Harper is one of the great children’s authors and illustrators working today, and will you find her picture books in your larger bookstores? You will not. There isn’t a lazy page here: one hilariously diagrammed interlude involving Charlotte’s pie-stealing (and forever regretful) grandfather deserves it’s own book. We should be so lucky.
